Afterimage opens with pink pepper berries and dark rum wrapped in resinous myrrh. It’s warm but controlled, slightly tense, with vanilla working quietly underneath, never sweet, just present.
As it develops, honey blends with rum and praline, smooth and rounded, lifted by a restrained iris accord. The sweetness stays elegant and balanced, inviting without trying to seduce.
Labdanum and worn leather take over in the base, grounded by Haitian vetiver and a soft veil of smoke. The drydown is intimate and comforting, softened by cashmere musk and white suede musk, with myrrh lingering close to the skin.
